Congratulations to Angela Watson for being promoted to an apprentice at the prestigious San Francisco Ballet! She joins as the newest member of America’s oldest professional ballet company for the 2022-2023 season.
Watson received the 2021 National YoungArts Foundation Award in Ballet for her superior level of artistic skill and achievement, joining the elite group of 659 of the nation’s most accomplished artists in the visual, literary, and performing arts. In 2019, the Anthony Quinn Foundation named WATSON as the Artistic Scholar in Ballet after demonstrating exceptional talent, dedication, and a strong commitment to personal artistic growth, joining yet another extremely elite group of 129 students from across the U.S. and abroad who are the epitome of excellence in visual, performing, media and literary arts.
