Emily McShane at Ringling College
Emily (AQF ‘23) shares her experience at the Ringling College of Art and Design in Florida:
“I am so grateful to the Anthony Quinn foundation for the opportunity to study art at RCAD’s pre college this summer.
During the 4 weeks I loved surrounding myself with other passionate teen artists, diving into studying art at the college level, decorating my dorm room walls with completed assignments, and receiving meaningful advice and critique from instructors of all disciplines.
Most of all I loved the late nights I spent with my friends making memories that will last a lifetime. At the end of the program I was chosen to be one of 10 students to receive a $5000 presidential scholarship award to Ringling College of Art and Design for outstanding academic achievement.”
