Olivia Holiday at Finnish Symphony Orchestra
In the fall of 2016, Olivia won an apprenticeship with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra. Apart from regular classical music performances, Olivia is an active member of the arts community, having experience in a variety of musical genres. In the fall of 2016, she performed the world premiere of "Selva Amarilla" for solo violin, composed by Sergio Castrillon in the "Korvat Auki" concert series for improvisational music in Helsinki, Finland.
Other engagements include a recording session with Rinne Radio and international tours with Helsinki University Music Society. Besides being a performing artist, Olivia also works as a curator. With successful projects and concerts planned in Finland as well as abroad, the planning of musical programs, marketing of events, and collaborations with patrons of the arts have resulted in significant events, bringing together audiences from all backgrounds.
