Varsha Appaji at Chinmaya Naada Bindu
We recently heard from 2015 Scholarship Recipient Varsha Appaji.
"I just came back from India on August 1st and wow, what an experience! I am so, so thankful to the Anthony Quinn Foundation for the opportunity I had to attend the monsoon intensive for three weeks in Kolwan, India this summer. It was the first time I had been away from my parents for that long, but we were kept very busy with lessons, lecture demonstrations, and performances. I had so much fun in the beautiful environment and in the end I think it was my parents who missed me more. I have learned a whole lot of theory, compositions, and techniques from great teachers and fellow students during my stay..."
